Private Michele Galatola was an Italian soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born c. 1885, in Italy, the son of John Galatola, and later emigrated to Britain, where, in 1905, he married Maria Mayhew, of London. At the time of the 1911 census, Galatola was working as a hairdresser while living with his wife and two children at 227 Grays Inn Road, St Pancras.

Galatola died on 16 August 1917, during the Third Battle of Ypres, while serving with the 1st (City of London) Battalion (Royal Fusiliers), The London Regiment on the Western Front.

He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Menin Gate Memorial.
