Rifleman Miguel Ernest (Ernesto) Ramon Franquet was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.
He was born in 1893, in Camberwell, the son of Spanish fruit importer Miguel and Alice Franquet (née Shotter), of London.
Franquet died on 9 September 1916, during the Somme Offensive, while serving with the 1/12th (County of London) Battalion (The Rangers), The London Regiment on the Western Front.
He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Thiepval Memorial.
