Private Morris Lipman was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.
He was born in 1896, in Leeds, Yorkshire, the son of Polish-born parents Myer, a tailor, and Dora Rose Lipman. At the time of the 1911 census, the Lipman family were residing at 4 Byron Street.
Lipman died on 18 June 1917, on the Western Front, while serving with the 21st (Service) Battalion (Wool Textile Pioneers), The Prince of Wales's Own (West Yorkshire Regiment).
He has no known grave and is commemorating by the Arras Memorial.
