Private Nicholas Ballarini was an British-Italian soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born c. 1897, in Naples, Italy, the son of musician Andrew and Loretta Ballarini, who settled in England in the early 1900s. At the time of the 1911 census, Ballarini was living with his family at 64 Gun Street, Ancoats, Manchester.

Ballarini died on 19 August 1917, of wounds recived in the Third Battle of Ypres, while serving with the 9th (Service) Battalion, The Lancashire Fusiliers on the Western Front.

He is buried in Etaples Military Cemetery.
