Private Norman Alexander Vine was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the Second World War.
He was born in 1924, in Birmingham, the eldest son of Jack and Anne Vine (née Rosenberg), later of Burton-on-Trent.
Vine died on 16 June 1944, during the Battle of Normandy, while serving with the 8th (Midlands) Parachute Battalion, The Parachute Regiment. His unit had parachuted into Normandy in the early hours of the 6th, in the prelude to the Allied amphibious assault..
He is buried in Ranville War Cemetery.
