Lance Corporal Oscar George Brubach was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born in 1890, in Forest Hill, the son of German parents Valentin, a boot maker by profession, and Mathilde Brubach. The younger Brubach worked as a carman before enlisting in the British Army at 18 years and 11 months. At the time of the 1911 census, he was stationed at Lebong, India with the 3rd Battalion, The Duke of Cambridge's Own (Middlesex Regiment).[1]

Brubach died on 5 March 1915, on the Western Front, while serving with his battalion. He had arrived in France in January.[2] Three of his brothers died in the war: Frederick (in 1918), George (in 1916), and Henry (in 1916).

He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Menin Gate Memorial.
