Lance Corporal Oscar Ludwig Janson was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.
He was born in 1896, in Hendon, the son of Swedish-born waiter Ludwig and Phebe (or Pheobe) Janson, of Malmesbury, Wiltshire. At the time of the 1911 census, the younger Janson was working as an errand boy while living with his family at 14 Douglas Road, Kilburn.
Janson died on 9 April 1917, on the Western Front, while serving with the 6th/7th Battalion, The Royal Scots Fusiliers.
He is buried in Cabaret-Rouge British Cemetery, Souchez.
