Private Oswald Simon Baron was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.
He was born in 1896, in Norwich, the son of Polish-born Isidore, an assistant superintendent for the City Life Insurance, and Emelie Baron (née Schonberg), of Paris, France.
Baron died on 31 July 1916, during the Somme Offensive, while serving with the 24th (Service) Battalion (2nd Sportsman's), The Royal Fusiliers (City of London Regiment) on the Western Front.
He is buried in Corbie Communal Cemetery Extension
