Sergeant Peter Hogan Kano was an English airman of the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve who died during the Second World War.

He was born in 1923, in Lambeth, the son of Japanese-born Yasuzo and Violet Marie Kano (née Clubley), later of Golders Green.

Kano, serving as an air gunner in 630 Squadron, died on 22 June 1944, when his Avro Lancaster (serial ME843) was shot down close to the Dutch-Belgian border while engaged in an operation against Wesseling.[1]

Kano is buried in Heverlee War Cemetery.
