Private Philip (or Phillip) Goldbaum was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.
He was born in 1897, in Stepney, the son of hairdresser's assistant Solomon and Sarah Goldbaum, of Romania and Russia, respectively. At the time of the 1911 census, the Goldbaum family were residing at 12 Well Street, Cable Street.
Goldbaum died on 23 July 1916, in the Suez area of Egypt, while serving with the 1/10th (County of London) Battalion (Hackney), The London Regiment.
He is buried in the Suez War Memorial Cemetery.
