Second Lieutenant Philip Ernest Posner was an English officer of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born in 1898, at Hampstead, the son of commission agent Nathaniel and Irish-born Hortense Posner (née Samuelson), a "professor of singing".

Aged 19, Posner died on 27 April 1917, during the Arras Offensive, while serving with the 8th (Service) Battalion, The Lincolnshire Regiment, attached from the 3rd Battalion, The South Staffordshire Regiment.

He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Arras Memorial.
