Officer's Cook 1st Class Publius Viscoso was a Maltese sailor of the Royal Navy who died during the First World War.
He was born on 20 January 1892, in Msida, Malta, the son of Vincenzo Viscoso and Maria Zammit.
Viscoso died on 31 May 1916, during the Battle of Jutland, when shells from the German battlecruiser Von der Tann caused the battlecruiser HMS Indefatigable to suffer two catastrophic explosions. Only two of the 1,019 crew survived.
He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Plymouth Naval Memorial.
