Gunner Ronald Ludwig Eichler was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.
He was born in 1894, in Islington, the son of German-born Emil William L, a manufacturers agent and book keeper, and Ellen Eichler (née Smith), of London. At the time of the 1911 census, Eichler worked as an assistant polisher.
Eichler died on 5 July 1918, on the Western Front, while serving with the 1/1st Essex Heavy Siege Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery. He had previously belonged to the Middlesex Regiment.
He is buried in Aire Communal Cemetery.
