Lance Corporal Rupert Behrendt was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born in 1887, in Burringham, Lincolnshire, the son of Maximilian Raphael, a Prussian-born surgeon and physician, and Elizabeth Amelia Behrendt (née Charlton), of Goring. At the time of the 1911 census, Behrendt was working as an engineer's fitter while living with his family at 175 High Street, Scunthorpe.

Behrendt died on 16 July 1916, of wounds received during the Somme Offensive, while serving with the 9th (Service) Battalion, The Royal Fusiliers (City of London Regiment) on the Western Front. He had arrived in France in December 1915.

He is buried in Puchevillers British Cemetery.
