Private Solomon ("Sidney") Fink was a soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born at New York City, in the United States, the son of Polish-born parents Abraham, a tailor by profession, and Leah Fink. His family had returned to Britain, having previously resided there, by the 1901 census. At the time of the 1911 census, the younger Fink had followed into his father's trade and was living with his family at 25 Elizabeth Street, Cheetham.

Aged 30, Fink died on 26 October 1917, during the Third Battle of Ypres on the Western Front, while serving with the 12th (Service) Battalion, The Manchester Regiment. He had formerly belonged to the Duke of Lancaster's Yeomanry, which was absorbed by the 12th Manchesters in September 1917,[1] and had first arrived in France in August 1915.

He is buried in Bleuet Farm Cemetery.
