Telegraphist Solomon Cornbleet was an English sailor of the Royal Navy who died during the Second World War.
He was born in 1924, in Pancras, the son of Russian-born grocer Hyman and Leah Cornblatt (née Freeman).
Cornblatt died on 3 August 1944, when the Hunt-class destroyer HMS Quorn was attacked and sunk off the coast of Normandy, with the loss 130 crew.
He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Portsmouth Naval Memorial.
