Private James Stanley Klippel was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born in 1900, in Kensington, the son of German-born baker Simon and Sophy Klippel, of London. At the time of the 1911 census, the Klippel family were residing at 58 Stowe Road, Shepherd's Bush.

Klippel died on 4 September 1918, during the Allied Hundred Days Offensive on the Western Front, while serving with the 12th (Service) Battalion (Bermondsey), The East Surrey Regiment.

He is buried in Voormezeele Enclosure No. 3.
