Lieutenant Sydney Fink was an English officer of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born on 28 October 1894, in Birmingham, the son of the Rev. Jacob, of the Birningham Hebrew Congregation, and Annie Fink (nee Rosenthal), both of whom were Polish-born. Fink studied at King Edward's School before entering the jewellers firm Ahronsberg Brothers, becoming its junior manager.[1]

Fink was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the South Lancashire Regiment on 14 August 1915 and went to France the following February with its 2/5th Battalion. He died on 20 April 1917, of wounds sustained the day before when the trench in which he was occupying came under shell-fire.[1]

He is buried in Estaires Communal Cemetery Extension.
