Private Thomas Suarez was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.
He was born in 1896, at Liverpool, the son of Spanish parents Joaquim, a keeper of a boarding house for Spanish sailors, and Dominga Suarez. At the time of the 1911 census, the Suarez family were residing at 25 Hurst Street.
Suarez died on 6 November 1917, during the Third Battle of Gaza, while serving with the 12th (West Somerset Yeomanry) Battalion, The Prince Albert's (Somerset Light infantry) in the Sinai and Palestine Campaign.
He is buried in Beersheba War Cemetery, Israel.
