Midshipman Vivian George Edward Spencer Schreiber was an English sailor of the Royal Navy who died during the First World War.

He was born on 21 February 1899, in Thames Ditton, the son of Major Julian Meade Schreiber and Hilda Rose Schreiber (née Abinger) The younger Schreiber first studied at the Royal Naval Academy at Holyrood School, in Bognor Regis, before entering Dartmouth.[1]

Schreiber died on 1 November 1914, in the Battle of Coronel, when the armoured cruiser HMS Monmouth was sunk with the loss of all hands. He had been assigned to Rear Admiral Craddock's flagship on 4 August.[1]

He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Plymouth Naval Memorial.
