Private Walter Harry Buhl was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born in 1894, in Poplar, the son of German-born baker Charles Robert and Elise Caroline Catherine Buhl (née Heinlin), of London. At the time of the 1911 census, the younger Buhl was working as an office boy in the book export trade while living with his family at 34a Bellott Street, East Greenwich.

Buhl died on 10 September 1916, of wounds received on the Western Front, while serving with the 2/20th Battalion, The London Regiment. He had married, in 1915, to Lilian Haghes.

He is buried in Aubigny Communal Cemetery Extension.
